EUDR evidence for coffee — Origin Enviro+ Report.

Your Due Diligence Statement is a legal declaration you may have to defend at audit for five years after filing. Penalties for non-compliance: at least 4% of EU-wide turnover, plus confiscation of product. Origin Enviro+ is the structured, signed assurance evidence pack that backs that declaration — built to be retained, audited and reused across every shipment from the origin.

Map the origin

Geo-locate your coffee supply zone — farm polygons, coordinates and washing stations ready for EUDR due diligence.

Verify the land history

Multi-year satellite analysis confirming whether the land was forest before the 2020 EUDR cut-off.

Evidence when it matters

A signed environmental report retained for the 5-year EUDR audit window — ready when regulators, retailers or auditors ask how your conclusion was reached.

Mapping

Mapped production areas define the scope of the report. Supply zones and protected areas are clearly identified.

Production Areas

Mapped zones defining where the coffee is produced. These boundaries identify the supply area surrounding washing stations or estates and establish the geographic scope of the environmental assessment.

GPS Coordinates

Geolocation data for the mapped production area, including latitude, longitude and polygon boundaries. These coordinates provide the precise location information required for EUDR due diligence.

Protected Areas

Map overlays showing national parks, forest reserves and other protected zones in relation to the production area.

Mapped Area

Total land area covered by the assessment, measured in hectares. This confirms the size of the production zone used in the environmental analysis.

Reference IDs

Unique identifiers assigned to each mapped production area. These IDs link the geographic data to the environmental report and supporting documentation.

Evidence

Deforestation Assessment

Satellite comparison showing whether forest conversion occurred after the 31 December 2020 cut-off date.

Historical Land Use

Multi-year satellite imagery confirming whether the land was already agricultural or non-forest before the cut-off date.

Land-Use System

Observation of the vegetation structure within the production area, such as agroforestry or perennial crop systems.

Assessor Sign-Off

The report is reviewed and signed by a qualified analyst, confirming the findings and analysis.

Data Confidence

Confidence score of the analysis based on the quality and availability of satellite imagery.

How the service runs over time

Origin Enviro+ is an annual subscription. Year 1 covers the heavy lift of mapping your supply shed and reconstructing the 2020 baseline. Each subsequent year refreshes the evidence — and continuous monitoring runs between refreshes.

Year 1

Onboarding

  • Full polygon mapping of the supply shed
  • Baseline 2020 deforestation reconstruction from satellite archive
  • First-year risk assessment
  • First signed Origin Enviro+ report
  • Buyer team onboarding and dashboard setup

Year 2 onwards

Annual refresh

  • New farms added to existing polygons
  • Deforestation analysis rolled forward
  • Current-year risk assessment
  • Refreshed signed Origin Enviro+ report
  • New assessor sign-off

Year-round

Continuous monitoring

  • Deforestation alerts on all mapped polygons
  • Supply shed change detection
  • DDS evidence support per shipment
  • Dashboard access for the buyer team
  • Triggered re-issue if material change is detected

Each annual report is retained by both the buyer and Weathersafe for the full 5-year EUDR audit window. A buyer running 5 origins for 5 years builds a 5-year audit trail of 25 signed reports — every shipment from the year it was placed on the EU market traceable to a dated, signed evidence file.

Why this evidence matters

Origin Enviro+ brings the evidence behind your DDS into a single signed report — retained for the 5-year EUDR audit window, reusable across shipments from the same origin, and structured the way a competent authority will expect to read it.

Back your DDS with retainable evidence

Your DDS is the legal declaration you file in TRACES. Origin Enviro+ is the structured assurance file you keep — digitally verified origin, land-use and forest history, assessed by independent specialists. One signed report, retained for the 5-year EUDR audit window.

Evidence readiness

Within this structured report are the datasets and methodologies that answer EUDR due-diligence questions — packaged so a national competent authority recognises the file format on sight.

Answer any challenge

The report shows you took every reasonable step to assess whether the coffee came from deforested land. Signed, version-controlled, and reusable across every shipment from the same origin.

Your polygon data stays yours

EUDR requires only a single centroid coordinate per plot for farms smaller than 4 hectares — which covers most smallholder coffee. The full polygon stays in your records (and ours), feeding internal risk assessment without ever entering the EU's TRACES database. Your origin mapping remains your asset.

Origin Enviro+ addresses the deforestation pillar of EUDR Article 9. The legality pillar of due diligence — labour rights, free, prior and informed consent (FPIC), land tenure, taxes and country-of-origin compliance — is the operator's responsibility and may require additional documentation alongside this evidence pack.
