GAP77 is a regenerative farming standard built in the field — developed with agronomists, soil biologists, and entomologists over 13 years of hands-on work with coffee farmers. Read against CSRD ESRS E1 and SBTi FLAG, it is a transition pathway: defined baseline, structured practices, measurable trajectory, verifiable outcomes.

How GAP77 is implemented at the station.
Monthly farmer training
Structured sessions at the station covering seasonal practices — pruning, mulching, composting. Attendance tracked, content adapted to what the weather is doing.
Nursery management
Stations grow and distribute seedlings to replace old, unproductive trees. Variety selection, germination tracking, and distribution schedules managed through the platform.
Cherry pulp composting
Pulp from processing is composted with EM-1 and calcium carbonate, then returned to farmers as organic fertiliser. Nothing wasted.
Demo farm
Every station maintains a demonstration farm showing GAP77 practices in action. Farmers see the difference before committing to change.
How GAP77 is implemented on the farm.
Tree density
Most farms have 2,500 trees per hectare or fewer. GAP77 targets 4,400. Old unproductive trees replaced with improved varieties, planted at correct spacing.
Intercropping & shade
Banana, avocado, and leguminous trees planted alongside coffee. Shade regulation, nitrogen fixation, and additional income streams for farmers.
Erosion channels & mulching
Contour channels cut to prevent soil loss. Mulching applied year-round to retain moisture and regulate soil temperature — triggered by weather alerts above 28°C.
Scouting & monitoring
Seasonal field visits recording root health, flowering counts, pest presence. Every observation geo-tagged and timestamped. Progress tracked from baseline.
